Tash South, owner of South Place Studio, is a seasoned developer whose most recent project was self-building her own home in north London. It was a huge, exciting, challenging project which gave her a deep understanding of what it takes to pull a building together quite literally from the ground up. New builds can sometimes feel clinical and cold, so she worked closely with the architect to include elements like exposed brickwork and beams to add character and warmth.

It’s also where she showcases her work, experiments with layout and design, and explores different materials to give her clients first-hand advice on the durability of various finishes.
